Vol.5 Becoming the wind

Rakuko: “About how many minutes should I stay in the sauna room?”

Kuma: “There is a 12-minute clock in the sauna room, and it takes 12 minutes if the hand goes around once.”

Rakuko: “Then, all you have to do is stay in the sauna room for 12 minutes!”

Kuma: ``Every person's physique is different, and the physical condition of the day is different, so there's no time limit. Just sweat a lot and get out if you feel like taking a bath.''

Rakuko: “You don’t have to force yourself to make it like a patience tournament.”

Kuma: “If you force yourself, it will only hurt your body and make you tired. If you feel like taking a cold bath, leave the sauna room.If you feel like it’s time to warm up in the sauna room, then leave the cold bath.Don’t force it. You don’t have to.”

Rakuko: “Repeat that several times and then take a break at the end.”

Bear: “This break is the real pleasure of the sauna.”

Rakuko: “This is where the sauna really begins.”

Kuma: “I recommend the rest area near the entrance to the open-air bath.”

Rakuko: ``There's a bench, so you can relax in the spacious space.''

Kuma: "Relax your body and check what's going on in your body right now."

Rakuko: "I'm feeling still. I feel like I've finally been freed from the hot and cold torture. My head feels light and it feels good."

Kuma: “Yes, concentrate on that feeling. Don’t you feel like a calm and refreshing feeling is spreading out more and more?”

Rakuko: “I might be flying in the wind across the meadow right now...”

Bear: “That’s really impressive!”

LaQua: “The meaning of sauna is that refreshing and enchanting feeling continues for a long time.”

Bear: “You understand?”

Rakuko: "Well, it's my first time, so I don't know much about it, but this might become a habit."

Kuma: ``I'm sure you'll get used to the sauna room and cold bath, and I'm sure you'll find your own way to do it.''

Rakuko: “I now know that taking a bath and taking breaks is important.”

Kuma: “Blood circulation improves and metabolism increases!”

Rakuko: “That means you can create a body that burns fat easily! That will lead to dieting!”

Kuma: ``The thermal effect improves blood circulation, so it's good for people who are sensitive to cold.''

Rakuko: "I think I had a huge misunderstanding about the sauna...no one told me that."

Kuma: “The public bathhouses disappeared in the city, and the folklore of the grandparents who knew about them disappeared.”

Rakuko: “I see, back in the Showa era, that was something you learned at public bathhouses.”

Grandma: “Young lady, it’s a big deal for you to take a cold bath.”

Rakuko: ``Now that I think about it, even when grandma got out of the bath, she poured cold water on her feet before getting up.'' ``Grandma was so kind to me... It kind of reminds me of the past... Jee...''

Bear: “It’s so strong!”
