Your tanka will be used as decoration at Spa LaQua!
We are pleased to announce a collaboration between Spa LaQua and コトアム, a short-form literature app that allows you to write and read tanka, essays, and novels!
We are accepting tanka poems in the "Rain" and "Warm" categories.

① “Rain” category
In the anthology "Rain Songs" by Sososha, 100 contemporary poets have contributed poems about rain.
It will be exhibited along with the tanka poems included.
Display location: 5F LaQua Living
Example from the "Rain" category:
The sound of falling rain, the view outside the window, the color of hydrangeas, or a refreshing night after shedding tears... Write a poem about a quiet, beautiful scene or emotion that makes you think that the rainy season isn't so bad after all.
② “Warm” category
These two are driving the modern tanka boom.
It will be exhibited alongside tanka poems by Ito Kon and Okano Daiji.
Exhibition location: 7F Rendezvous Square
Examples in the "Temperature" category:
It gives you a relaxing feeling, like when you soak in a hot spring.
The warmth after a bath, the feel of a towel on your skin, someone's kind words, a moment when your heart suddenly feels warm...
Please write a poem about the "warmth" that will soothe your cold body and mind.
